The Farmington High School HOSA Chapter attended this week’s State Leadership Conference in Hot Springs with three students qualifying for the International Leadership Conference. Olivia Hummel placed 3rd in the Occupational Therapy event while Molly Pendergraft and Makayla Cox placed 3rd in the Public Service Announcement event. FHS Juniors will take the ACT exam on Tuesday, February 24th. On this day, Seniors will have a College and Career Day while Sophomores will have a field trip to the University of Arkansas.

Last Wednesday was an incredible Health & Safety Day for Farmington Washington County Teen Leadership members as they visited WRMC Senior Center for a hands-on learning experience!
Students explored the importance of mental health, discovered exciting health care career paths, and practiced real-world skills including phlebotomy techniques, CPR, PPC training, and nutrition education. They also had an energizing session with Master Randy’s Self Defense, learning practical ways to stay safe and confident. #ESED

What a day at FHS! Thank you to the incredible Farmington Fire Department for bringing the trucks and the (very cold) water for today’s Polar Plunge. We are so proud of the teachers and students who volunteered to get sprayed for a great cause. With your support, we raised $1,100, and even ended with a rainbow to top it all off! #ESED





Farmington's DECA chapter had a busy couple of days competing at the State Career Development Conference! Twenty-two high school students attended, and 11 placed in the top 3. Those students will have the opportunity to attend the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta in April! Congratulations to FHS junior Luciana Galan! Lucy auditioned and made the top All State Choir. Lucy is making Farmington history, as she is the first girl to earn this honor! She will be attending the Arkansas All State Music Conference in Hot Springs.
