Farmington Middle School Parents, we just wanted you to know the reason the fire alarm went off and why the fire department came to our building. There was no fire and the alarm went off because of a duct sensor. The fire department checked it out and went through the building and found no smoke or fire. We are thankful to have received a donation of Medify Air Purifiers for all classrooms, common areas, and offices at Farmington Middle School today from New Lion Media Group. In addition to masks, hand hygiene, and sanitizing efforts - these air purifiers will help provide an additional level of protection to our students and staff from COVID-19 and other viruses.

Also don’t forget Open House is Wednesday, August 11th. Please only come with your FMS student and parents or guardians. Masks are strongly encouraged. The times for open house are as follows:
5th grade last names starting with A-L will come from 3:30 to 3:50pm. 5th grade last names M-Z will come from 4:00 to 4:20pm.
4th grade last names starting with A-L will come from 4:30 to 4:50pm. 4th grade last names M-Z will come from 5:00 to 5:20pm.
6th grade last names starting with A-L will come from 5:10 to 5:30pm. 6th grade last names M-Z will come from 5:40 to 6:00pm.
