Students from both high school choirs enjoyed meeting with a guest speaker, Jeremiah Griffin, on their last day of class. Mr. Griffin spoke about song writing and busking, which is a type of street performance. The students also enjoyed getting the opportunity to sing with Mr. Griffin! #cardstudentsareworthit

Resilient, impactful, giving. These are just a few of the words used to describe Sophomore Lindsey Scogin, winner of the United Nations Community Service Merit Award. Lindsey received this award for her continued service to others through the many volunteer opportunities she participated in. When asked why she enjoys volunteering, Lindsey says, "I enjoy contributing and putting smiles on people's faces. I want to thank the FHS Counselors for telling me about this award opportunity." Reminder: The Class of 2021 Graduation will be held tonight. If weather permits, our scheduled 7:00PM ceremony will proceed as planned. In the event of inclement weather, we will delay as needed until a break in the weather allows us to proceed onto the field. If no such break occurs, graduation will be held Wednesday, May 19th at 7PM.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work the FHS Crimson Select Ensemble members have demonstrated throughout the year to perfect their craft. Choir Director Laura Jackson says, "This has been a challenging year for everyone; however, students in the arts have been particularly impacted. They've had to miss out on so much and what they have been able to do has been really altered by strict guidelines and safety measures.
