The Farmington FFA Horse Judging team picked up some hardware today from the Northwest District contest. These ladies were named Northwest District Champs. Congratulations Shanaya Downing, Kaylee Murr, Chloie Thomas and Shannon Davis on all your hard work. Additionally Chloie Thomas was named High Individual for the entire contest, with more that 120 students participating!!


Farmington High School will run a Mentor Activity schedule tomorrow, April 5th, to allow students an opportunity to preview the spring musical "The Little Mermaid!" #cardstudentsareworthit

Tickets are sold at the door, which open an hour before show times! The cost is $5 for students and $10 for adults. The show is going to be popular so make sure you get there early enough to get good seats!

Mrs. Bunch's Food Safety and Nutrition class held their annual Cupcake Wars this week! Students had to design and bake Disney-themed cupcakes. FHS teachers judged the students on creativity, taste, appearance, and how well it represented the theme. All involved had a great time!




In order to provide an optimal solar eclipse viewing experience for students and staff on Monday, April 8, Farmington High School will implement the following plan:
Students will go to their 4th block classes for attendance. Teachers will then escort students to the football field where staff will distribute eclipse glasses. Students will return to class at 2:10pm.


Attention Seniors! Gap and gown deliveries will be April 3rd from 10am to 12pm in the FHS atrium. If Seniors have not yet ordered their cap and gowns, they can do so at that time. Any balance remaining on the order is due at pick-up. #cardstudentsareworthit

A big congratulations to Nathan Glover and Russell Flory for placing among the top 16 high school teams at the Arkansas All-Region Coding Compeition! They've qualified to enter the All-State competition on April 20th at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Great work!


Mr. Long's Cybersecurity students visited the Arvest Fusion Center this week! They bore witness to cutting-edge tools dissecting weather patterns, news headlines, and cyber threats before they strike. Students were able to brainstorm ways to integrate this real-world intel into their class, making learning feel like a thrilling spy mission! #cardstudentsareworthit

Members of Washington County Teen Leadership enjoyed a day outside of the traditional classroom for their arts and media day. Students toured and explored careers that the world of theater offers at both TheatreSquared and Arts Live Theatre. They enjoyed making pottery at the Community Creative Center, and then took a look into media, communications, and meteorology while touring KNWA and the Pig Trail Nation studios. #cardstudentsareworthit @washingtoncountyteenleadership @chamber-fayetteville
