Farmington Senior, Zoe Nix, attended the National Leadership Summit in Indianapolis two weeks ago. Zoe was selected as one of four student-athletes in the state to form the Arkansas Activities Association Student Advisory Council. At the conference they attended hands-on meetings that encompassed the challenges that student-athletes are faced with in today's world. She was also allowed the opportunity to volunteer at the Indiana Special Olympics while she was there. Zoe said, "From my time in Indianapolis I learned how to be a better teammate, student, and friend. I was very honored to represent Farmington and the Arkansas Activities Association. In the picture above Zoe is standing with the other members of the Arkansas Council and Arkansas Activities Association Associate Director, Steve Roberts. Congratulations Zoe!
